It’s a pleasure to pay tribute to my Turkish heritage with the launch of my second spice mix with Steenbergs: Niki’s Turkish Blend. My Turkish Blend can be used for a wide range of dishes, from traditional meals like mantı (Turkish ravioli), Mercimek Çorbası (lentil soup), Çılbır (poached Turkish eggs), Patlicanli Kebap (aubergine kebabs) all the way to sprucing up some sauteed potatoes, a topping for yoghurt or cream cheese and even for everyday roasted vegetables and scrambled eggs…mmmm.
