I found the best method for poaching an egg to be the whirlwind method. That is, for the water to be at simmering (not boiling!) point, create a whirlwind in your pan of water with a whisk, then crack your egg in and let it set for about 3 minutes. Take out with a slotted spoon and serve right away! To think I was so scared of poaching an egg, now I can’t wait to poach my eggs, it’s so fun! Anyone else feel the same way? Haha…
