I can now reveal the recipe for these #viral pistachio-kunafa chocolate bars! š¤¤ Theyāre crunchy and dreamy, and yes they live up to the hype, trust me.
š„ Ingredients:
* 300g of dark chocolate * 200g of slivered pistachios * A good pinch of sea salt @steenbergsltd * Edible gold spray, optional
š¤¤ Pistachio filling:
* 150g of kunafa pastry * A tablespoon of olive oil * 75g of pistachio spread * Another good pinch of sea salt
* If your pistachio paste is firm, warm it in the microwave for 20 seconds until smooth and runny.
* Pour into the crunchy kunafa, add a pinch of sea salt.
* Next, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in a bowl for 10 second intervals, stirring between each interval.
* Pour over the melted dark chocolate and 6 the back of a spoon spread it evenly int the mould, covering the corners and surface completely
* Fill each mould with the pistachio filling and smooth out the top evenly.
* Cover the top with more melted dark chocolate and cover evenly. Make sure to scrape out the excess, scatter over the slivered pistachios, and then place the mould in the freezer to set for a few minutes.
* Remove from the freezer and from the mould, spray with edible gold spray and flowers, and enjoy!!! āŗļø
